2 Blogs Coming Soon... "Mind of a Hustler" and "The Bottom Line of Recruiting"

Wanted to take the time to thank God for our many blessings.

1. Mind of a Hustler - Jesse Holley, the winner of the "4th and Long" TV series, NFL veteran, and inspirational speaker, gave some keys that has helped him get to where he is today. He talked to us about his struggle, his relentless grind.  He spoke on the mind set that you have to have when chasing your dreams in America.  You can't be passive. Go get it.  I say this stuff all the time but when Jesse explained it to me face-to-face, it gave me chills.  I am working on putting he video together as we speak.

2. The Bottom Line of Recruiting - The recruiting coordinator for Winston Salem State University gave me the opportunity to sit down and question him about the stereotypes of high school recruiting.  Guys, my goal is to bridge the gap of understanding.  We often here people talk who think they know what they are talking about when it comes to high school recruiting. Please don't be fooled.   This is my way to go directly to the source. And I didn't want to just keep this information to be some what of a recruiting guru, I wanted to share this with the world.  Hopefully it helps my high school guys when trying to take recruiting into their own hands.  I tried when I was in high school. I was so close to earning a D1 scholarship. It was almost in my grasp.  I will not fail this time when understanding what exactly a college coach wants.  I would advice you to take notes when this video drops.  May give you the edge over the next recruit.  Oh and this is going to be uncut. Keeping it raw.

Interview Questions
- What does WSSU look for in a recruit?
- Do ratings matter in recruiting? (Rivals, stars, bowl games)
- How do you find your recruits? (Social media? Hudl? High school coach recommendations?)
- What are the intangibles that will set scholarship ready guys apart from the rest of the recruits?
