Wise Words From An All-American... "You never know who else is working"

I just want to take the time to bless God for blessing me with Janesh and the opportunity to influence his people in my innovative ways.

This is a piece from a good friend of mine. Satiir Stevenson.  Our relationship has turned slowly into true brotherhood.  One of the most competitive guys I have met.  I have gained so much respect for this guy mostly because he is a leader by example, which is rare since social media has come around.   He is not a stranger to talking don't get me wrong because the kid can talk.  I just like to hear this type of speaking from him.  I feel that he has something to offer you. Listen up.
"High school will be the least stress you will experience for the rest of your life. As you may know, the football world is very competitive and it is rapidly becoming more competitive. Time is the most valuable thing on earth and I think we as a culture speaking for the majority, waste  a lot of time. We take it for granted. Everyone has the same 24 hours, 7 days, 52 weeks, or 365 days, however you want to view your time. What you do with your time is up to you. That is why 3 % of people in the world control 97% of it. Some work harder than others.  From experience, I can tell you, you need to value your time.
You have about a month and a half left until the season. All aspiration in your body should be devoted to football, the grind. Look at it this way, if you plan on being in a league championship, you have to prepare to play the football season for four months, from September to December. I am sure you have heard the regular season is won in the off season, that is very much true. You have from April to July to prepare for the football season, that is also four months. What you do from April to July will determine what you accomplish from September to December. Expose this to your team. The off season helps you sustain your health, ability, and endurance throughout the football season. So when you feel like not doing nothing, get out there and run a mile or two. You never know who else is working, so go that extra mile to either get ahead or catch up.

Another thing that I have learned through my 21 years of life. Sometimes you  have to separate yourself from the pack to better yourself. They may not understand at the moment but they'll understand when they see the accomplishments. Eventually they'll love you for it. Only you know what's best for you.  God gives each of us individual visions of how our life should be.  It's up to you to follow that vision. Elevation requires separation and you cannot take everyone with you but you can show them what hard work is so they can create their own path. People are in love with results but love to watch the process as well.  Just take the first step to being an individual. Do what's important to you. This goes for everybody.  It will be rough at first, but take the step.  God rewards faith as small as a mustard seed. Your friends and family will understand one day. You have to go through hell to get to heaven, I heard. "
