3 Things To Keep In Mind For Tomorrow's Game

I want to start by saying “thank you, Lord for all you’ve done for me… “

Three steps to insure that you get the most out of tomorrow’s game.

1. Find something to perfect during the game.  Think of it now.  No dropped balls?  No missed tackles? Big plays? No double teams? Make somebody miss each play? What will this focus be?  I want you to figure that out now so you can meditate on it throughout the day at school tomorrow.  Make that a priority in the game.  And don’t let yourself down in that aspect.

2. Tonight, I want you to review your season goals.  What do you want out of this season? Are you on track?  What do you have to do during this game to make sure you stay on track to be what you think you have the potential to be? Hold yourself accountable.  Take this personally.

 3. Thank God for the opportunity to either reach or fail at your dreams.  What better place would you rather be?  Where else would you rather be other than chasing your passion.  Your purpose on this earth.  If that is what you believe, thank the Lord for giving you that opportunity.   In this, just know that he will keep you safe.  If he gives you the desires of your heart, he will be a guide for you as you continue to grow in your accomplishments. Every step of the way.  If you don’t manage to reach your goals, he is always there.  Thank him for being there.  This leap of faith is building you for your future. Parents, I know you understand.

Go hard, and don’t leave the field with any energy left.  No saved up energy.  Be willing to die on the field tomorrow, but first, ask God to keep you safe as you go to war. This is blood thirsty game.  Only the strong rise up.  Are you willing to put it all on the line?

I will be at the Northern Guilford vs Page game tomorrow night.  My prayers will be with the entire Triad.  Make something happen!
