Don't Lose Focus On Me ~ Percentages Of High School Players Making It To College

Just passed my final college conditioning test to begin my final year with Guilford College. To God be the glory.

This is to again prepare your mind for what you're up against.  Keeping the goal apparent. With all of the scrimmages starting to take place, don't lose sight of the goal to obtain an offer.  I know it is fun bonding with the team, building team chemistry.  Don't get complacent on me.  Keep fighting. It's mental.

When you went into the summer, the only goal was to earn the recognition you wanted from college coaches.  Don't be inconsistent on me. You need film to wow the college coaches.  Playmakers, dominant, fundamentally sound prospects is what they want.

I just want to make sure that you stay focused.  If you can't do that, I'll stay on your back about it. Here are a few numbers for you to think about.

According to the NCAA, on average, there are 306,221 thousand senior football players per year.  Of those seniors, only 17,501 thousand will make a college squad. That is a chance of 5.7%.

I'll let that marinate....

Got get it,

- Janesh
