This scripture says it all. Go read the first 10 verses of The Book of Joshua. Powerful scripture. God places small visions in our head of the things that we can have if we keep focus. Those visions of getting to the next level are possible. I'm telling you, you have to hold on to the faith. You're capable of doing everything your mind can think of. Now, it just takes an unmatched focus to see that your dreams turn to reality.
There should only be a few things in your mind right now. School, family, God, and football. Don't let this time pass you by. No distractions. Cut it all off. You don't need distracting friends during this time and girls will always be there. You're at war with your future. You can't risk losing.
Go give it all you've got. Give the game your entire mind. Sacrifice for the things you want. The professional athletes win these mental battles before they are even played. Believe it already.
Do you still have that goal sheet? How are your goals looking? Are you on track?
There is no room for complacency. Turn it up to another level tomorrow. I need you to believe that you can stand out. I have faith in you. I know what it takes. I know the focus it takes. Force yourself to zero in.
No room for outside distractions. This Friday you have a date with destiny. Be prepared.
I'll be taking a trip toward Charlotte where I'll be catching the East Gaston vs South Point rivalry football game. I will be keeping up with the scores and stats through Twitter and Andy Durham. Hopefully somebody that reads this will step up tomorrow night.
