Introduction to "Things I messed up on during my very own recruting process" Class of 2011

Just want to thank God for the opportunity to get better.  I know people that aren't able to use their time the way they please.  I will not take this opportunity for granted.

This blog is going to be a way that I can throw out my past imperfections in order to save another family time and money.  My tuition is $42,000 a year. This amount, multiplied by 4 years, is $168,000 worth of potential scholarship money.  I want to save people money.  I will be spelling out each of my faults as I went through the process a few years back.

Overall, the efforts put forth by my parents and I weren't terribly in vain because I did eventually end up at Guilford College with partial scholarships.  I was blessed with a father who is financially stable enough to cover the rest my tuition.  I know that some don't have this type of financial security blanket.  Therefore, I am here to help.
This series will be a guide to the family that isn't getting the mainstream recruiting exposure and is looking to maneuver this recruiting world on their own. This is for the parents looking to fight for scholarship money and coaches who are willing to pay for their son to play ball for their team. I am passionate about this partially because I haphazardly went through this process myself.  Secondly, my family and I just didn't have the proper guidance.  Nobody took us through it and prepared us.  I didn't have the luxury of having personnel dedicated to my efforts of getting to the next level.
Keep your eyes open for this series to continue. I love you all and hope that I can continue to be of service.
